What we collect
Account info (email, username, profile details), content you create (photos, wardrobe items, fitpics, mix boards), usage data (which screens you visit, how often you post), and device info (OS, app version). We don't ask for your real name or address unless you opt into shopping.
Photos & camera
Photos you take or upload are stored on Supabase. We use computer vision to auto-tag wardrobe items and detect pieces on fitpics. Your private wardrobe items are visible only to you. Public fitpics are visible to anyone using FitPic.
How we use it
To run the app, personalize your feed and stylist suggestions, send notifications you've opted into, prevent abuse, and improve features. We don't sell your data. We don't show third-party ads inside FitPic.
Who we share with
Service providers we trust — Supabase for storage, Anthropic for AI, PostHog for product analytics, Resend for email. These providers process data on our behalf under strict contracts. We share with brands only when you make a purchase — they get the info needed to fulfill your order.
Your controls
Edit or delete any post, wardrobe item, or board anytime. Mark your profile private to hide fitpics from the public feed. Opt out of AI training on your photos in Settings → Privacy. Disable analytics tracking in Settings → Privacy. Delete your account to wipe everything.
How long we keep it
Active account data is kept while your account exists. After deletion, public content is removed within 30 days; encrypted backups are deleted within 90 days. Aggregated, anonymized analytics may be kept indefinitely.
Children
FitPic is not for kids under 13. If we learn we've collected data from someone under 13, we delete it immediately. Some regions require 16 — we follow local law.
Security
Data in transit is encrypted via TLS. Data at rest is encrypted by our storage provider. We rotate keys regularly and use row-level security to make sure people only see what they should. No system is perfect — we'll notify you of any incident affecting your data within 72 hours.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (GDPR in the EU, CCPA in California, and similar laws elsewhere) you may have rights to access, correct, port, or delete your data. Email privacy@fitpic.app and we'll help. We aim to respond within 5 business days.
